Breakfast is like any other meal. It is not more important nor does it have to be the largest meal of the day. In fact, you can do without having breakfast. 🤔
The idea that breakfast is the most important meal of the day is a common belief, not a proven fact. Skipping breakfast doesn’t make it up to you by eating more for the rest of the day. In fact, you end up eating less, around 400 calories according to some studies. 🤓
Believe it or not, fasting for 16-24 hours has several benefits:
1. Helps you lose weight and burn fat
2. Increases metabolic flexibility, your ability to perform physically and mentally well in the absence of food.
3. It can prevent against cancer.
4. It makes us more resilient.
This way of eating is known as intermittent fasting. 👍
